Poezia e Kaltrina Hotit, është lakonike, karakteristikë e poezisë më të mirë bashkëkohore, e çliruar nga prangat e inflacionizmit irracional. Poetja është në një dialogim apo monologim të pandërprerë për probleme të jetës, aq sa nganjëherë të krijohet përshtypja se me gjithë përditshmërinë e mprehtësinë e
problematikave që trajton, hapësirat kohore dhe hapësinore treten, ose si të thuash universalizohen dhe, të vetmet gjëra, që e mbajnë të lidhur me frymëzimin apo spunton poetike janë perceptimi dhe artikulimi poetik kombëtar i kultivuar, janë narracionet e detajuara, është surrealizmi kompleks, i cili nuk duket vetëm në aspektin e mendimit, por e tejkalon dukshëm atë duke marrë forma të fizikes. Ndoshta, mund të jetë rast unikal në poezinë shqipe që të ketë një lidhje aq të ngushtë mes poezisë e pikturës sa te Kaltrina Hoti, aq sa të krijohet përshtypja se janë zgjatim a vazhdim i pandërprerë i njëra-tjetrës, pa kufij.
